My name is Elena, and Mikhailova-Migal (MEN) is my stage name.
A little about myself: I was born in Kazakhstan. I live and work in Novosibirsk. My education: my first degree was in technical higher education, my second in trade and economics, and my third in academic drawing courses at Novosibirsk State University of Art and Design (NSUADI). I attended intensive courses with artists such as I. Shipilin, A. Lipatov, L. Babkina, and others.
I have been painting professionally since 2020. I have tried most techniques and various materials, but oil painting was love at first touch.
I practice intuitive, meditative, and plein air painting. I paint in various techniques and styles, depending on the mood I want to convey.
In my paintings, I strive to convey the harmony of Life and Joy. I don't paint pictures, but rather states of mind. They capture a feeling that helps the viewer find peace with themselves and see things from a different perspective. This is the magic of painting. Feel it!
